On March 22, 2023, Jörn Ahrens (JLU) presented on the topic of “Sustainability and Development: A Reflection” in the NWU School of Social Sciences Seminar Series. As development and sustainability are core terminologies in the current discourse on social transformation due to massive environmental change, namely climate change, in his presentation he reflected on the adequacy and possible implications of both concepts.
